This 2-Axis pan-tilt head facilitates effortless continuous 360° rotation on both horizontal and vertical axis that gives the operator full freedom to capture any desired angle.
A wired joystick remote controller provides a great range of pan and tilt speed control, with an excellent rotation for a complete revolution in any axis.
The precise, quiet & highly efficient motors are backlash-free & offer significant rotational force that provides 40% more speed than any normal motor & has extended rotation life.

ADAPTABLE, VERSATILE & ENDURING
Camera position adjustment lets you find an accurate balance on both pan & tilt pivot points for right camera moves.
The high-strength brass gears certify minimal wear and tear.

OPTIMAL MOTION & SPEED CONTROL

Damping Control :- Damping control knob prevent the Head from stopping abruptly with a jerk, giving you smooth endings. The amount of damping is increased by rotating the damping knob clockwise.
Dead Spot Control :- The Dead spot control determines the centre band of the joystick where no motion will occur and ensure no crossover to the other axis when not wanted. you can adjust your joystick when it is not centre by rotating this knob clockwise. If you observe the head moving without deflecting the joystick, it will be necessary to adjust centring. and to perform best in reversing the head then dead spot knob should be 30 to 40 percent.
Pan/Tilt Direction :- You can reverse the panning & tilting direction as & when required by using switch and you can also take damping function at the time of reversal. So best way to reverse the pan tilt head is by using this Reversal switch.

    No, the Explorer pro pan tilt head is not compatible with the wave-2 jib. But you can buy the PT-SR pan tilt head which will be compatible with the wave-2 Jib.

  • Can SKU : PT-EXPR-02 be directly mounted on the JB-FR4T-02?

    Yes, the Proaim Explorer pan tilt head (PT-EXPR-02) can be mounted directly on the Proaim 24ft Fraser Camera Jib Crane (JB-FR4T-02). Please refer the user manual of PT-EXPR-02 for the detailed instruction of head mounting on the crane.

  • Will this work with the Airwave V530?

    The best option is to use the Airwave with a gimbal instead of the Pan Tilt Heads. In Moving the setup, it will not help in achieving smooth endings. So we do not recommend this combination.
