Great Stabilizer!!

I rarely if ever leave reviews but I saw a lot of low reviews given to this because its hard to balance and stuff like that. Its absolutely not because of the rig. I balanced mine with a canon R5, in about 2 minutes. I have owned a GlideCam 2000 and bigger rigs too over the years. Balancing the rigs is a skill unto itself and took me a whole year to really get it nailed down. So dont let the reviews saying its impossible to balance sway you cause its not. If you stay within the weight limit you just need to be patient and learn. The quality of the different parts seem really solid all. Im very pleased with this product especially for the price!

It takes some practice to master it

I like it, but it definitely takes some practice and skill to learn how to do it effectively, more than I thought it would. Balancing it is easy.

  • What is the warranty?

    We provide a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. Items that are covered by the warranty period will be replaced at no cost to the customer. Replacement parts of the product will be provided at nominal cost (covering the cost price of the replacement parts only) to the customers after the Warranty Period has expired.

  • Is it returnable for a full refund if it doesn’t meet my expectations upon delivery?

  • What is the weight of HD-3000?

    The weight of HD-3000 with weight plate is approx. 2.7 kg

  • What is the difference between the HD-3000 and Flycam 3000?

    The key difference in both models is the design. The HD-3000 has a micro balancing feature as compared to Flycam 3000. The HD-3000 includes the Unico Quick release plate and Table clamp as free accessories, whereas Flycam 3000 includes the Unico Quick release plate and Flycam Yoko as free accessories.

  • How long can I use the Steadicam before I get tired? Do I need the Arm & Vest with this?

    This Flycam HD-3000 camera steadycam weighs only 2.7kgs and so can be held easily for a long time but for more comfort you can use it with Arm Support and Body vest. Following are the options for it :

    i)Arm Brace: Flycam Arm Brace support
    ii)Body Pod: FLYCAM Body Pod
    iii)Comfort Arm & Vest: Flycam Comfort Arm & Vest Camera Stabilization System
    iv)Galaxy Arm & Vest: Flycam Galaxy Steadycam Arm & Steadycam Vest

  • If my camera plus accessories are overweight, what options do I have? Can I add more counterweights?

    HD-3000 can bear up to 8lbs. You can add more counterweights for a total weight up to 9lbs only. If the weight of your setup is more than 9lbs, we suggest you purchase Flycam HD-5000 for perfect balance as it can bear weight up to 11lbs.

  • Will the flycam HD-3000 handheld video stabilizer work with a glidecam arm brace or do I have to purchase the flycam arm brace?

    Yes, the Flycam HD-3000 Stabilizer will work with glidecam arm brace.

  • What's the maximum weight capacity?

    This Flycam HD-3000 can take the cameras weighing up to - 3.5kg / 8lbs.

  • Can I mount LCD Monitor with HD-3000?

    Yes, you can mount the LCD monitor onto the weight plate of Flycam HD-3000. You need to remove the weights from one side to which you want to mount the LCD monitor.

  • Does it come with a protector bag?

    Yes, this Flycam HD-3000 includes foam packaging with the bag.

  • Is it compatible with the arm and vest?

    Yes, it is compatible with the Arm & Vest. There are two options for Arm & vest for this camera stabilizer i.e. Comfort Arm & Vest: Flycam Comfort Arm & Vest Camera Stabilization System

  • Does this Steadicam come with the counterweight?

    Yes, this Steadicam comes with counterweight plates i.e. 8 weights for each side.

  • Is the Flycam HD-3000 Handheld Stabilizer for DSLR Video Camera compatible with the steadicam a-15 ?

    The Flycam HD-3000 will not be compatible with the steadicam a-15 as the size of mounting pin is different for steadicam a-15.
