HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE DESIGN
The cage has a handy rod-based height adjustment feature, making it easy to modify the height to accommodate monitors measuring up to 9 inches diagonally.

SUN SHADE
The sunshade’s bottom is made of Velcro that snaps directly to the cage frame by adjusting to the proper width of the monitor.
When packing the camera cage, it can be repurposed as a protective cover to avoid dings or scratches.

BATTERY PLATE
Its battery mounting plate features a V-Mount and dual direction swing away functionality for easy access to the monitor's rear and installed wireless devices.

NECK STRAP
The soft padded neck strap has four mounting points and quick-release clips that let you go hands-free & facilitate comfortable carrying without losing sight of your LCD.

MOUNTING POINTS
The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 mounting points all around for hassle-free attachment of accessories such as a sun hood or wireless receiver. Additionally, you can conveniently mount up to two wireless receivers next to each other on the Teradek mounting areas.

Decently priced for a great product

Easy purchasing experience, from very helpful enquiry process (was out of stock but was kept notified of availability time frames), through to speedy delivery. Product itself is great - works really well, and decently priced, especially as it comes with a battery plate included. Includes all the additional screws and attachment accessories for different monitors, in clearly labeled bags - a very comprehensively rounded kit, ready to go right out of the box. Just add your monitor and go!

  • Does the vlock battery plate come included with this cage?

    Yes

  • How many accessory mounting points does it have?

    It includes multiple 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threaded mounting points for attaching accessories.

  • Does it come with a sun hood?

    Yes. The included Velcro-mounted sun shade attaches directly to the cage and can double as a protective cover.

  • Is it possible to place a hollyland mars 400 wireless receiver in between the monitor and the v mount plate ?

    No, its not possible. There isn't enough space to fit a wireless transmitter between the monitor and V-mount plate.

  • Will an Odyssey 7Q+ fit on this?

    Yes, The Proaim director's monitor cage would support displays like the Odyssey 7Q.

  • Would this work with the Accsoon PowerCage Mini ?

    Yes, the Accsoon PowerCage Mini for the iPad Mini 6 would fit and work with the Proaim 9” Universal Director's Monitor Cage.
